Now in it's 9th year, SHINE Catholic work camp is fast becoming the work camp of choice by many Catholic youth groups. With an awesome team of young adults led by Augie & Dawn Leal, lives are being turned around. This is not your ordinary work camp. This camp was specifically designed with that "retreat feel" for those youth ministers and teens who are looking to go into a deeper relationship with Christ. Every SHINE consists of a theme, daily Mass, 4 days of service, nightly praise and worship with an awesome praise band, cool skits with the "God Squad", nightly youth group prayer, great presenters, an evening of Adoration, and a concert with one of today's top Catholic Artist's - "Augie Leal & SACRED HEART". There's also an optional Free Day on Saturday. Now how's that for a "retreat"? We are pleased to introduce something new to SHINE. We are teaming up with Diocesan Youth Offices from around the country to put on "City On A Hill" Diocesan Work Camps. These weeks of service are specifically designed for those who don't want to travel far away from their hometown or for those who can't afford to travel long distances. There will be daily Mass, Adoration, service projects, fun and games, praise and worship, multi-media, skits. youth group prayer, nightly chapel, a concert and some great food. Once again SHINE will be serving to the "EXTREME" this summer. These camps are designed for those willing to go that extra mile. Every SHINE Extreme camp consists of daily Mass, 4 days of Extreme service, nightly praise and worship with an awesome praise band, cool skits with the "God Squad", nightly youth group prayer, great presenters, an evening of Adoration, and a concert with and one of today's top Contemporary Catholic artist "Augie & SACRED HEART". These camps were designed with no theme, no "Free Day" and longer work days. This is also for those groups looking to go a little deeper, spiritually in their their faith and who have had some sort of work camp experience in the past (Catholic or not).
